We’re improving how we connect with you with comments and newsletters!
In September and October we asked you: “How can we better connect with you, our chiver’s and chivette’s of New England?”. You’re answers came in loud and clear: more events, a better way to connect and better communication from us on upcoming events and chapter news.
So with your feedback, cases of beer and a horrible attempt at a team meeting at a brewfest (yeah we aren’t kidding) we got busy and got to work. We’ve got 3 meetups coming in the next 5 weeks to round off 2015 and some really big ones on the horizon for 2016. We’re also very excited to announce that we’ll be pushing out two new ways to connect with everyone over the next couple of days: Comments and Newsletters oh my.
We really could be shooting ourselves in the foot with this one but what the horde wants the horde gets! We’ll be enabling the same commenting system (Disqus) that the fine folks over at HQ aka theChive.com uses, so this means you can sign in with your existing social media accounts, easy peasy! Comments will be enabled on galleries first and then posts and events will follow shortly after.
We’ll be monitoring comments so be polite, use them to ask questions and to connect with your fellow chapter mates.
Next with the awesome service over at MailChimp.com we’re officially rolling our Chive New England newsletter! We’ll be using this to push news and events right to your inbox on a monthly basis so you are current with everything going on at Chive New England.
To sign up for the newsletter click here and get signed up. We’ll need some really basic information like your name, email address and where you’d like to be notified of things. After you’ve signed up all you need to do is verify your email address. After that, expect our first newsletter in early November!
Finally, as always make sure to head to our Social page to connect with us and all the chapters that make up Chive New England.
